Anxious patient?
The Implant Team will do everything possible to put you at ease from the moment you enter the building. Our receptionist will give you a warm welcome and make you comfortable in our seating area. If you feel happier to bring someone with you to the appointments then this is absolutely fine by us.
We hope that the informal first visit will be an opportunity to get to know us a bit more and ask any questions you have. No dental work will take place at this appointment.
If you go ahead with treatment, all procedures are carried out under a local anaesthetic. We have worked with many nervous customers and our caring, considerate approach has helped many overcome their anxiety.
However, if you are particularly nervous we can offer sedation treatment. As long as you are in good health, conscious sedation can be given and will put you into a state of semi-consciousness where you will be totally relaxed. Many people find it useful for the longer surgical visits but the majority of time the treatment simply doesn’t require it!
